Who or rather what is Safari? Whose idea was it to use the image of a dead sheep on a T-Shirt? Why was Safari's first movie called "Malaria"? Are those things worth being explained in a history article anyway? We think so!


A group of friends sharing a common passion for Skateboarding and its culture started to print a few shirts and have dreamt of an alternative brand focusing on original graphics far from expensive goods and their average styles and quality. They wanted to build their own "project" to support the swiss scene.


Safari was founded in late 2002 by a very diverse group, which either act as teamriders, in the background or in both areas. Safari can be considered as a big family. Still, this is not meant to be pointed out.

Safari is committed to creating swiss quality products for consumers who live a lifestyle marked by originality and distinction. Over the years, Safari has cultivated a solid team of riders that support and live the brand's image, raw style and skate inspired background.

Safari is based in Zurich, Switzerland. Sold at core retailers, Safari features a range of high quality denim, fleece, wovens, tees, streetjackets and accessories.
